Assam Flood Toll Reaches 100, Over 1.37 Lakh Affected

Assam’s flood situation remained critical on Monday as two more deaths pushed the toll to 100 this year. Over 1.37 lakh people across seven districts are currently affected.

Golaghat remains the worst-hit district, while several rivers, including the Dhansiri and Kushiyara, are flowing above danger levels. The administration is operating 125 relief camps and distribution centres across six districts.
