Three KSU Leaders Arrested After Shillong Rally Violence

Three senior Khasi Students’ Union (KSU) leaders, including president Raymond Kharjana, were arrested on Wednesday night following violence and vandalism during a black-flag bike rally in Shillong. Police said at least 31 vehicles were damaged, several people were assaulted, and a government vehicle was allegedly set on fire.

The KSU expressed regret over the violence, claiming miscreants had infiltrated the rally to damage its image. Later, police reportedly raided the KSU office in Jaiaw, where tear gas was allegedly used during the operation.
