₹8 Crore Yaba Tablets Seized in Cachar

Assam Police seized around 40,000 Yaba tablets worth approximately ₹8 crore during an operation at Saptagram in Dholai, Cachar district. The drugs were recovered from a scooty, and two persons were apprehended in connection with the seizure.

Burmese areca nuts were also recovered from their possession. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma praised Cachar Police for the operation as further investigation continues into the suspected drug trafficking network.
