Heavy Rain Triggers Waterlogging Across Guwahati

Guwahati: Heavy rain on Tuesday morning inundated several parts of the city, affecting commuters in areas including Hatigaon, Six Mile, Rukminigaon, Downtown, Panjabari, Jorabat and Zoo Road.

The IMD has forecast rainfall in Kamrup Metropolitan district until September 5. The latest spell has once again highlighted Guwahati’s persistent waterlogging and drainage problems.
