Assam BJP to Hold Blood Donation Camps Across 39 Organisational Districts

Guwahati: The Assam Pradesh BJP will organise blood donation camps across all 39 organisational districts of the state on September 19 to commemorate the first death anniversary of singer and cultural icon Zubeen Garg. The programme is being organised under the Assam Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha.

According to BJP spokesperson Kamal Kumar Medhi, the programme will begin with floral tributes to Zubeen Garg, followed by blood donation drives at designated locations. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP state president Dilip Saikia are scheduled to participate in the blood donation camp at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan, the party’s state headquarters in Guwahati.
