Education Conclave 2026 Discusses NEP 2020 Implementation in Northeast

Chümoukedima: Education leaders from across the Northeast gathered for the inaugural session of the Education Conclave 2026 in Nagaland, focusing on the implementation of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and its challenges and opportunities for the region.
Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu attended the two-day conclave along with Mizoram’s Dr. Vanlalthlana, Tripura’s Shri Kishor Barman and Arunachal Pradesh MLA and Education Minister’s Adviser Shri Mutchu Mithi. Discussions highlighted the importance of mother-tongue education in the linguistically and culturally diverse Northeast, while Pegu thanked Nagaland Higher Education Minister Temjen Imna Along for providing the platform to exchange views on NEP 2020.
