Guwahati Students Join Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 Cleanliness Drive

Guwahati: Students from several schools participated in awareness drives and wall-painting activities on the second day of Swachhata Hi Seva 2026, promoting cleanliness, sanitation and responsible waste management. The activities were held under the theme “Swachhata Mein Sahbhag; Swachh Bharat, Viksit Bharat” and focused on “Swachh Pathshala – Yuva for Swachhata.”

The students used artwork to spread messages on keeping surroundings clean and practising four-way waste segregation under the campaign message “Ab Do Nahi Chaar.” The Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC) supported the initiative by providing paints and brushes, encouraging young participants to take the message of cleanliness to their schools, families and communities.
