Three Arrested With 10 Vials of Heroin in Khanapara

Guwahati: Three people were arrested in Khanapara after an East Guwahati Police District (EGPD) team from Dispur Police Station allegedly recovered 10 vials of heroin during an operation, Guwahati Police said.

The arrested individuals were identified as Rahul Islam, 21, and Ramu Biswakarma, 24, both from Ri Bhoi, Meghalaya, and Rituraj Bhuyan, 25, of Basisthapur, Guwahati. Police said legal action has been initiated against the accused as part of its ongoing drive against drug trafficking under the #AssamAgainstDrugs campaign.
