KOHIMA, NAGALAND, October 1, 2026: Assam Rifles organised a sports equipment distribution programme for the Pfuchama Youth Organisation in Kohima, Nagaland, on September 30, 2026, to promote grassroots sports and youth development.

According to a post shared by Assam Rifles on its official social media account, the initiative provided village youth and local teams with footballs, volleyballs, shot put equipment, badminton sets and other sporting gear. The programme aimed to encourage young people to participate in sports and develop their athletic skills.
