Guwahati Airport Opens Book Fair at Arrival Village

Guwahati: Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (LGBIA) has introduced a dedicated book fair at its bamboo-structured Arrival Village. The initiative adds a cultural experience for arriving passengers while highlighting Assam’s literary heritage.

The fair features fiction, non-fiction and regional literature, offering travellers an opportunity to explore books soon after landing. Airport officials said the initiative blends Northeast India’s traditional bamboo craftsmanship with a modern passenger experience and promotes a stronger reading culture.
