Two Detained in Guwahati Cybercrime Suspicion

Guwahati: Gorchuk Police detained two youths after raiding a flat at Brahmaputra Housing Colony on Tuesday over suspected links with cybercrime. During the search, officials seized around 70 mobile phones, identity documents, pen drives, stamps, cheque books and a substantial amount of cash.

The detained youths, identified as Zillat Alam and Tahid Rajiv Alam, had reportedly been living in the flat for around eight years. Police are examining the seized items to determine their alleged involvement in cybercrime, and further details are expected after the investigation.
