Himanta Biswa Sarma Expresses Hope for Justice in Zubeen Garg Death Case

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday expressed hope that the fast-track court hearing singer Zubeen Garg’s death case would deliver justice, noting that the proceedings were progressing regularly.

Responding to questions about protests by Garima Saikia Garg and the Zubeen Garg Fan Club, Sarma said the government could not comment on matters pending before the Gauhati High Court or Supreme Court. However, he expressed confidence in the fast-track court’s judicial process.
