Garima Saikia Garg Says Zubeen’s Justice Campaign Must Remain Apolitical

Guwahati: Garima Saikia Garg, wife of late singer Zubeen Garg, has reiterated that the campaign seeking justice for him must remain free from political affiliations and ideologies. She urged people to unite behind the family’s sole demand for justice and avoid imposing personal or political views on the movement.

Garima said she could not attend the protest at Zubeen Khetra in Sonapur as she had travelled to Gaya to perform Vedic rituals for Zubeen and family members. Meanwhile, the case has seen recent developments, with the Gauhati High Court granting bail to singer Amritprabha Mahanta and suspended DSP Sandipan Garg, who was named among seven accused in the SIT chargesheet.
