Assam to Begin Recruitment for 5,734 Posts on February 1, 2027

Guwahati: Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that recruitment for 5,734 posts across six departments will begin on February 1, 2027. He urged aspirants to use the three-month preparation period effectively.

The vacancies include 2,236 in Assam Police, 1,307 in Forest, 827 in Home Guards, 684 in the Assam Police Radio Organisation, 489 in Fire and Emergency Services, and 191 in Prisons.
