A minor was assaulted in Guwahati’s Basistha Temple

A man was accused of sexually abusing a minor inside a temple on Saturday. The young girl was raped inside the Basistha Temple’s toilet.

The accused is identified as Khanin Kalita. The victim lodged a complaint at the Basistha Police station regarding this.

After the victim lodged a complaint with Basistha Police, a search operation was carried out in an attempt to identify the offender. He was finally arrested from Meghalaya by the police.
