AAGSU and Police Collaborate to Apprehend Drug Peddlers in Margherita Sub-division

Acting on specific information regarding the supply of drugs in Jagun area under Margherita Sub-division, the All Assam Gorkha Student Union (AAGSU) Tirap Jagun regional committee, in conjunction with Lekhapani police personnel, successfully apprehended three drug peddlers from Phaneng Kenya bridge late Sunday night. The operation resulted in the seizure of over 10 packets of suspected heroin weighing 112 grams, concealed in soap boxes. The arrested individuals, identified as Bimal Chetry, Gaurav Chetry, and Dipok Chetry, all hail from Jagun.
