Aamir Khan Meets Raj Thackeray Amid Imran Khan’s Legal Battle

Mumbai: Actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan met Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray at his residence on Sunday. The visit came days after Aamir’s nephew, actor Imran Khan, received a Leave India Notice directing him to leave the country by October 28.

Imran has challenged the notice issued by the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) in the Bombay High Court, calling it unconstitutional. The notice reportedly relates to his participation in a Mumbai protest on October 10 over alleged irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise. He has sought cancellation of the notice and protection against deportation while the case is being considered.
