AASAA Opposes OIL’s Land Acquisition in Naharkatia Tea Estate

The All Adivasi Students’ Association of Assam has protested Oil India Limited’s move to clear around 20 bighas of tea plantation land at Satyanarayan Tea Estate for exploration. The group warns the action threatens the livelihood of tea workers and urges authorities to stop the takeover. AASAA cautioned that continued land acquisition may lead to agitation, calling on the government to protect plantation areas from industrial encroachment.
