AASU Calls for Employment-Focused Development Roadmap for Assam

Guwahati: At the second general meeting of the Asom Unnati Sabha (AUS), AASU leaders called for a comprehensive development roadmap for Assam with a focus on employment generation, skill development and livelihood-oriented education.

The meeting also formed a new 72-member AUS executive committee, re-electing Dr. Samujjal Kumar Bhattacharyya as president and Pragyan Jyoti Bhuyan as general secretary. The NEST Cluster also announced an MoU with AUS to support youth development initiatives in the state.
