Gauhati University Launches Largest Summer Internship Programme

Guwahati: Gauhati University has launched its Summer Internship Programme 2026, the largest undergraduate internship initiative in the university’s history, with 280 students participating in 11 specialised fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cyber Security and Data Science.

The programme was inaugurated by Assam Education and IT Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu and will continue until July 22, providing hands-on training under faculty supervision in line with the NEP 2020.
