AASU Demands Swift Probe into Killing of Manipuri Music Teacher in Delhi

Guwahati: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) has demanded a swift and impartial investigation into the alleged killing of Manipuri music teacher Chongtham Vikram Singh in New Delhi.

AASU president Utpal Sarma expressed concern over the safety of people from the Northeast in the national capital and called for the accused to be arrested and punished if found guilty. He also urged authorities to take stronger measures against harassment, discrimination and violence targeting people from the region.
