AASU Plans Fresh SC Petition for Re-Examination of Final NRC

AASU is preparing to file a new petition in the Supreme Court seeking re-examination of the final NRC published in 2019. They allege ineligible names were included and claim over 19 lakh people should have been excluded. Discussions with legal advisers are underway. AASU says an error-free NRC is vital to honor the Assam Movement martyrs.
