AASU Seeks Special Relief for Flood-Affected Students in Assam

The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) has urged the Assam Government to introduce special relief measures for students affected by recent floods in Sivasagar, Charaideo and Jorhat. The union requested tuition fee support, extension of the fee waiver scheme, relaxation of the 75% attendance rule, additional classes, and extended hostel admission deadlines to ensure students do not suffer academically during flood recovery.
