Assam Extends ‘Apun Bahan’ Vehicle Loan Subsidy Scheme Till 2031

The Assam Government has extended the ‘Apun Bahan’ vehicle loan interest subsidy scheme until March 31, 2031, allowing eligible government employees to buy new vehicles with financial support. The revised scheme offers a 2% interest subsidy for men purchasing petrol or diesel vehicles, 3% for women and Divyangjan, and 4% for electric vehicles (EVs), subject to timely loan repayment.
