AASU Slams PM Modi Over Illegal Migration Issue

AASU criticized PM Modi for admitting Assam’s demographic crisis too late and failing to act on illegal infiltration. The student body accused him of breaking his 2014 promise to deport illegal foreigners and condemned the imposition of CAA in most of Assam.

They demanded full implementation of the Assam Accord, sealing of the Bangladesh border, exclusion of Assam from CAA, and urgent measures to protect indigenous rights.
