AASU Urges CM to Resolve Polytechnic Teachers’ Job Crisis

The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU) has urged Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma to address the job crisis faced by polytechnic part-time teachers. AASU demanded their regularization, citing years of service and humanitarian concerns. The Chief Minister acknowledged the issue and stated that new polytechnics would be established, offering some opportunities. He also assured age relaxation for affected teachers but emphasized that recruitment must be through exams.
