ABSU President Dipen Boro Resigns, Set to Join UPPL

All Bodo Students’ Union (ABSU) president Dipen Boro resigned from his post during a meeting at Udalguri College. He announced that he will formally join the United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) on Saturday in the presence of party president Pramod Boro. Dipen Boro is also likely to contest the upcoming Assam Assembly elections from the Udalguri constituency as a UPPL candidate. He previously served in several key roles within ABSU before becoming its president in 2020.
