Adabari Waste Facility Nears Completion, Set to Boost Guwahati’s Waste Management

GMC announced that 60% of work on the Adabari RTS-cum-MRF is complete. Once ready, it will process 250 TPD of waste, aiding Guwahati’s 500 TPD output. Machinery is installed; final structural work is ongoing. The facility is expected to be operational by June or October. It will convert non-recyclables into fuel for cement factories. A third unit is also planned in Panjabari.
