Adulterated Milk Scandal Uncovered in Guwahati’s Paltan Bazar

In an unusual incident on Friday, adulterated milk was found being sold as cow milk in Guwahati’s Paltan Bazar area. Following a local resident’s complaint, Paltan police detained Santosh Kumar. He was selling the adulterated milk under the banner of ‘Brihatta Guwahati Go-Palak Sangstha’ for Rs. 70 per litre. Local residents claim powdered milk was mixed with water and sold to customers.
