Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit Secures ₹10,785 Crore in Investment Proposals

The two-day Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025 concluded with investment proposals worth ₹10,785 crore, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced. Major deals included a ₹3,000 crore MoU with Virinchi Limited for a 200 MW data center and ₹3,200 crore from Star Cements Ltd for a cement plant. The summit saw 164 MoUs signed across 15 sectors, with key players like Adani Group, Tata Power, and JSW Energy committing investments. Global partnerships included collaborations with the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry.
