African Swine Fever Outbreak Reported in Morigaon; CFS Kits Distributed to Schools
Morigaon administration has declared Daponibari village as the epicenter of African Swine Fever. A 1-km radius is marked as an Infected Zone, with a 10-km Surveillance Zone. Strict bans on pig movement, pork products, and related activities have been imposed to curb the spread.
Meanwhile, DDMA distributed UNICEF-guided Child Friendly Space kits to five schools to support children’s learning and well-being in flood-relief camps.
