ASSEB Mandates Online Portal for HS Textbook Orders

The Assam State School Education Board has directed all institutions offering Higher Secondary classes (XI and XII) to order textbooks exclusively through its online Textbook Requisition Portal.

Schools must log in and submit their requirements to purchase books directly from publishers, ensuring timely availability before the new academic session.

The move reinforces ASSEB’s push for a centralised, paperless procurement system. The Board has made it mandatory to follow the online process to avoid delays and ensure smooth textbook distribution across the state.
