AIUDF MLA Aminul Islam Booked Under NSA for Provocative Remarks

AIUDF MLA Aminul Islam has been re-arrested under the National Security Act (NSA) after getting bail in a sedition case linked to pro-Pakistan remarks during a poll campaign. His controversial speech and viral video allegedly connected the Pahalgam terror attack to a government plot. Islam, a three-time MLA from Dhing, has 23 past cases in the NSA dossier. CM Himanta Biswa Sarma confirmed action based on police reports. The AIUDF distanced itself from Islam’s views.
