AIUDF Predicts 15+ Seats as Assam Poll Claims Intensify

With counting day nearing, political parties in Assam are making contrasting claims about election outcomes. AIUDF MLA Rafiqul Islam said the party expects to win 15 or more seats and will support any anti-BJP government.

Meanwhile, AJP projected an opposition win with 68–76 seats, while Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma predicted over 90 seats for the BJP-led alliance and a weak performance by AIUDF and Congress.

The wide gap in projections reflects a highly competitive contest.
