AJP Condemns Anti-Karbi Slogans in West Karbi Anglong, Seeks Action

The Assam Jatiya Parishad on Friday voiced concern over an incident in Kheroni, where a procession allegedly raised anti-Karbi slogans. AJP general secretary Jagadish Bhuyan accused the BJP-led Assam government of endangering indigenous communities, even in Sixth Schedule areas. The party demanded immediate arrests and prosecution of those involved under the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
