Akhil Gogoi Seeks Clarity on Opposition Alliance, Opposes Unilateral Congress Decisions

Raijor Dal chief and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi on Monday said he remains hopeful of joining the Opposition alliance in Assam but will not accept any unilateral decision by the Congress. He said seat-sharing talks are still incomplete and claimed the Congress has not communicated any final stand.

Gogoi said Raijor Dal has demanded 15 Assembly seats and warned that excluding the party could weaken the Opposition’s fight against the BJP. He urged the Congress to clarify its position जल्द to avoid confusion and demoralisation among Opposition workers.
