Akhil Gogoi Voices Discontent Over Congress–Raijor Dal Seat-Sharing Talks

Raijor Dal chief and Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi on Friday expressed dissatisfaction with the outcome of recent seat-sharing talks with the Congress, alleging that the party changed its stand unilaterally. He said Raijor Dal had sought only 15 seats, but even within this, Congress altered constituencies involving key candidates.

Gogoi said he would write to the Congress leadership and stressed that delays and lack of clarity were harming alliance unity and benefiting the BJP. He urged immediate finalisation of seat-sharing to avoid confusion among workers and voters.
