Ambala-Mohali Expressway Stretch to Open December 15, Promises Faster Travel

Chandigarh: The 30-km, six-lane Ambala-Mohali Greenfield Expressway stretch is scheduled to open on December 15, offering motorists a faster route between Haryana and Punjab. Connecting Ambala with IT City Chowk in Mohali, the corridor is expected to reduce travel time by 40–50 minutes by bypassing congested areas around Zirakpur and Dera Bassi.
The new stretch will connect with the operational Mohali IT City-Kurali Expressway, improving access to Chandigarh, Mohali and nearby regions. It is also expected to benefit travellers heading towards Shimla, Manali, Punjab and Jammu while easing traffic around the Tricity region.
