Amit Shah Directs Free Movement in Manipur from March 8
Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level meeting in Delhi to review Manipur’s security situation. He ordered free public movement on all routes from March 8 and strict action against disruptions. He also directed early completion of border fencing and dismantling of drug networks. The meeting included top officials from the Army, BSF, CRPF, and MHA. President’s rule was imposed in Manipur on February 13, transferring legislative powers to Parliament.
