Amit Shah to Visit Assam, Inaugurate Key Projects in Guwahati and Nagaon

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will arrive in Assam on Sunday night for a two-day visit to inaugurate multiple projects and address a public meeting. He will stay overnight at the State Guest House in Koinadhara.
On Monday, Shah will pay tribute at the Swahid Smarak Kshetra and visit Batadrava Than in Nagaon, where he will inaugurate a cultural project at the birthplace of Srimanta Sankardeva. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the site has been restored after removal of encroachments.
Shah will later inaugurate the new Guwahati Police Commissionerate building and an Integrated Command and Control System to monitor over 2,000 CCTV cameras. He will also inaugurate the Jyoti Bishnu Cultural Complex, a 5,000-seat auditorium, and address a public rally before returning to New Delhi.
