Anganwadi Workers Hold Black Day Protest in Majuli

Majuli: Anganwadi workers and helpers under the Assam Rajyik Anganwadi Karmi and Sahayika Santha staged a Black Day protest in Majuli on Friday, demanding higher wages, regularisation of services and better working conditions. The protesters also sought improved infrastructure at Anganwadi centres, travel allowances and increased budgetary support for the ICDS programme.
