Anti-Narcotic Raid in Assam Yields 25-Kilogram Cannabis Seizure, Three Detained

In a significant operation, Assam police conducted an anti-narcotic raid in Dalgaon, leading to the seizure of a massive consignment of cannabis weighing 25 kilograms. The operation took place at Batabari village in the Dalgaon subdivision of Darrang district. Authorities intercepted a Tata DI trailer vehicle transporting the illegal substance, estimating its worth at around Rs 2.5 lakhs. Three youths, identified as Kharga Bahadur Baredua, Harekrishna Sarkar, and Dipankar Choudhury, were detained during the raid. The individuals, involved in cannabis smuggling, were apprehended based on specific intelligence inputs.
