Married Couple Arrested in Guwahati for Alleged Drug Peddling

A married couple, identified as Saddam Hussain and Qarisan Nesa, was apprehended by the Special Operations Group (SOG) of Assam police in Guwahati’s Jalukbari area on Monday night. The arrest followed a routine check, during which the police seized 14 containers of illicit drugs from the couple’s possession. The authorities also confiscated their motorcycle. An ongoing investigation is in progress to gather more details on the alleged drug peddling activities of the arrested individuals.
