APCC Alleges BJP Attempted to Delete Names of Living Voters in Biswanath

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has accused the BJP of trying to delete the names of living voters in the Biswanath Assembly constituency by falsely declaring them dead. Addressing a press conference, APCC Mahila Congress president Mira Borthakur alleged that over 70 voters were targeted through Form 7 applications at a polling station in Kumalia. She claimed the move was aimed at manipulating the electoral process and undermining democracy, and asserted that public sentiment favours a change in government in Assam.
