APCC to Hold Youth Conclave in Guwahati in September

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) is set to organise a Youth Conclave in Guwahati during the first week of September 2026, focusing on youth empowerment, democratic values and their role in nation-building. APCC president Gaurav Gogoi has initiated the programme to provide young people with a platform for dialogue, idea-sharing and constructive participation.

The conclave will feature interactive discussions aimed at encouraging and mobilising Assam’s youth towards building a stronger and progressive Assam and India. A committee comprising Dr Jay Prakash Das, Satyabrata Kalita, Jayanta Khand, Kaushik Kashyap, Ashik Iqbal, Palakshi Das, Birinchi Bora and Kuldeep Rajbongshi has been entrusted with organising and coordinating the event.
