APCC to Launch Statewide Outreach Programme from December 20

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee will launch a statewide mass outreach programme, “Raijor Podulit Raijor Congress”, from December 20, with all Congress MPs and MLAs engaging directly with people across Assam. Gogoi alleged political interference in higher education under the BJP and said Congress would consult students and youth to protect the sector. He ruled out any alliance with AIUDF and stated that seat-sharing decisions would be taken collectively within the party. Gogoi also raised concerns over pending tribal status issues and criticised the BJP government on governance and political conduct.
