APDCL Introduces Optional Time-of-Day Tariff Plan

APDCL announced no tariff hike for domestic and BPL consumers but proposed an optional Time-of-Day (ToD) plan. This plan offers reduced rates during off-peak solar hours, benefiting high-consumption users with smart meters and loads above 10 kW. Domestic consumers below 10 kW, comprising 68 lakh out of 71 lakh users, remain unaffected. The initiative aligns with the Ministry of Power’s 2020 rules, enabling cost-effective power usage.
