ARCS officer on suspension does not show up for SIT interrogation

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) summoned Bikash Sarma, the suspended assistant registrar of cooperative societies (ARCS), but Sarma did not show up on Thursday. But throughout the day, the team persisted in questioning APS Nilanjal Gogoi about the APSC cash-for-job scam at the CID office. After being called by the SIT, Bikash Sarma applied for anticipatory bail in the Gauhati High Court.
