Arunachal Police Bust Inter-State Sex Trafficking Ring, Rescuing Minors from Assam

In a significant development, the Arunachal Pradesh Police have arrested six more individuals, including three pimps and three assailants, in an ongoing minor sex trafficking case. They also rescued an additional victim girl from a lodge in Chimpu, Itanagar. This brings the total number of rescued victims to five, with a total of twenty-one arrests. The rescued victim girl, aged 15, hails from a poor family and was forced into prostitution. She is currently receiving medical care in a shelter home. Additionally, the police arrested three assailants who recently sexually assaulted the minor. Marik, a deputy superintendent of police, is among those apprehended.
