Ashok Singhal Inaugurates Free Dialysis Centre in Charaideo

Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister Ashok Singhal inaugurated a three-bedded dialysis centre at Sapekhati Model Hospital in Charaideo district to improve access to kidney care. The centre is equipped with modern haemodialysis machines and will provide free dialysis services to all patients, reducing the need for travel to larger towns.

Operated under the National Health Mission, the facility is fully funded by the state government, covering machines, doctors, technicians and medicines. The new centre adds to Assam’s network of free dialysis services and is expected to benefit residents of the Sapekhati region with timely treatment closer to home.
